Were you sad to say goodbye to summer? Well HYP was too! However, it is not too late to fit in one more epic hike. Come join HYP to take on Elkhorn Peak and check out the Elkhorn State Park ghost town. This will be an in and out challenging 9 mile hike with roughly a 3,000ft elevation gain. We will meet at the Les Schwab parking lot. Plan to leave by 8:30am and carpool to the Elkhorn State Park. Remember to bring plenty of water and snacks!

Testing out your golf skills (new or experienced) with some friendly competition. Each simulator is equipped with various games so we can take swings to see who can get closest to the pin, maybe some battleship, and more!

Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or it's your first time holding a club, this event is about having fun! This is your chance to take a few swings and make new connections. No clubs? No problem! The range has clubs you can borrow for free, so all you need to bring is yourself!

Calling all creatives and balloon lovers! Help Neil Sauter of Sauter Balloons create balloon murals and sculptures for Septemberfest! Two building sessions: Sunday afternoon (September 7th) or Monday evening (September 8th). On the job balloon skills training will be provided!

Sunday, September 7th: We'll be creating a balloon wall, depicting a mountain scene.  Volunteers will be required to inflate balloons, and tie them together in rows, following a pattern.

HYP is offering a Missouri River Float trip Sunday, August 10th. We'll be floating from Craig to Mid Canon. After the float, there will be an option to meet up at Craig TapHouse which includes food, NA beverages, and of course beer! Bring a flotation device (canoe, kayak, SUP, tube) if you have your own.

This event is open to both members and non-members - so bring a friend or make new ones there! Everyone’s welcome to join in the fun. You'll pay $11.50 for a ticket, but as a *bonus perk* - all attendees will get 20% off concessions, so go ahead and treat yourself to popcorn, snacks, or a soda while you enjoy the film. Showtime is at 4:00pm and we will meet at 3:30pm in the lobby so we can get seats together and then head to concessions to take advantage of this perk.

Generally considered a moderately challenging route and will take us about 2-2.5 hours to complete. Come join us at the Mt. Helena trailhead at 6:00pm ready with hiking shoes and water.

Bears are a fact of life here in Montana. Do you know what to do if you encounter one? Join HYP and MT FWP on Wednesday, May 21st, for a free training on staying safe in bear country! Learn how to handle bear spray, how to avoid attracting bears, and how to safely hike and camp in bear habitat. We will be at the Montana WILD Auditorium from 7-8pm.

Join HYP for a fun glow yoga event with Crown and Wing Studio!

Both HYP members and non-members are welcome. Ticket pricing is $25 for members and $30 for non-members which includes the following:

This will be a two hour event that will entail putting on glow in the dark body paint, 60 min yoga session, and striking a pose for picture time. Yoga mats, towels, and paint will be provided at the event. Please remember to bring water and wear clothing you don't mind getting paint on. For extra fun, wear neon or white colors to bring out the glow!

This yoga session will focus on breathing, flexibility, and some cardio dance. The music we will be jamming to are all from the 90s. Bring a friend and join in on glowing it up!
